OPENINGS


The Operations Department is currently seeking an AVP/Director of Retail Sales. This position would provide strategic and tactical leadership to the retail sales staff resulting in the maximization of service and sales delivery. This position would also provide direction and management to the areas reporting to this position to achieve approved objectives, goals and initiatives. They would also exercise authority of a manager concerning staffing, training, coaching, employee performance management, employee development, and compensation management. Effectively plans, organizes, directs, analyzes, and evaluates staff and processes to solve business issues and to develop solution-oriented recommendations to enhance the fulfillment of Our Promise and to grow the business.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a business-focused discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years financial services experience with strong and consistent results in branch sales, service and consumer lending activities
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a sales oriented environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency and success in motivating and coaching service and sales managers and employees
  • Experience in building teams and collaborating with multiple functions and departments in an organization
  • PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Outlook/E-mail or equivalents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Incumbents in this role are required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in US Federal Credit Union’s SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of a FBI background check and registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

The Burnsville Branch has a full-time Financial Services Representative position open. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery methods, while maintaining confidentiality of member information. Identifies member product opportunities and recommends USFCU products to enhance member relationships with the credit union and provides quality sales referrals. Opens financial accounts for new and existing members. Processes member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately. Independently responds to members? questions, concerns and requests in a timely, competent manner. Maintains safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. Participates in achievement of corporate goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-months sales and service experience gained from financial services and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working under pressure
  • Be available to work various hours and locations as needed
  • Be available to work hours outside of the office to assist in community events and functions

There is a full-time Float Financial Services Representative opportunity available. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery methods. Enhance member relationship by identifying members' needs and cross-selling appropriate USFCU products and quality service referrals. Open financial accounts for new and existing members. Process member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately. Independently respond to members' questions, concerns and requests in a timely, competent manner. Maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. Participate in achievement of corporate goals and initiatives. Actively support community involvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ year related financial services experience, including previous lending experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working under pressure

  • A reliable vehicle for local travel and a valid drivers license.

The Member Service Representative maintains a unique working knowledge of all operational and technical facets of the credit union, its service offerings, benefits, and rules and regulations regarding our members and their accounts. This position is responsible for performing advanced functions and providing universal support, primarily over the phone, for our members related to department operational activities and financial services to effectively serve and resolve all member inquires, concerns and issues. The position of Member Service Representative also is required to be fully knowledgeable, up to date with changing policies and procedures and skilled in all functional areas of the credit union and is required to provide leadership, training and support, both technical and operational, to co-workers and other credit union staff. The position requires exercising independent judgment and decision making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast paced environment. A MSR focuses on building member and co-worker relationships while delivering “Our Promise”.

The Burnsville and Shakopee offices currently have a part-time Teller position available. This position’s work time will be split between the two branches. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery channels. Process member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately. Independently respond to members questions and concerns in a timely, competent manner. Provide quality sales referrals. Maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. Participate in achievement of corporate goals and initiatives. Support community involvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date)
  • 6-months cash handling or teller experience
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Previous PC experience
  • Math aptitude, keyboarding and 10 key skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills
  • Ability to work various hours and locations including Saturday and evening hours as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs


Hours:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 6:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 7:00pm, 2 to 3 Saturday’s per month 8:45a.m. – 1:15p.m., approx 20 hours per week.
