The Information Systems department has a Network Manager opportunity available. This position will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the Network Operations team. It will establish and maintain the technology, processes and procedures that provide for the reliability, availability and security of the Network and Telecommunications systems and infrastructure to align with the business objectives of USFCU. It will be responsible for the detection, reaction to, and prevention of network security breaches through best practices and effective management of these practices. The Network Manager will also participate in the strategic and tactical decisions about technology direction, IS products and services and the IS organizational structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent job-related work experience with similar responsibilities
  • 2+ years progressive experience in IS management to include managing and coaching employees.
  • Knowledge of major network operating systems, server hardware and virtual environments.
  • Experience with Local and Wide Area network design, implementation and support of secure segmented VLAN networks, and internet gateway security
  • Experience with Cisco network hardware/equipment, including routers, switches, etc. (Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) credentials preferred)

Due to the growth of the organization, the Payments Department has added a full-time Payments Manager position to its team. This position is responsible for providing successful leadership, direction and management to the Payments Department. The Payments Manager will ensure member and US Federal Credit Union concerns and requests are answered and solved in a timely and accurate manner, both in person and over the phone through the direct supervision of the Payments department. It is this position’s responsibility to oversee the daily functions of the ACH/ Share Drafts and Wire programs as well as provide back-up assistance to the Payment Representatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance or Business preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of financial institution experience to include previous ACH, Share Draft and Wire Transfer experience and supervision of staff.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Federal Reserve guidelines and operating procedures
  • PC experience to include a general working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and e-mail or equivalents

Due to the growth of the organization, the Training department has a full-time Training Specialist position available. This position will be responsible for supporting the organization’s needs through staff development and training, which includes: conducting foundational training for all employees covering specified areas such as computer systems/software, product knowledge and member service as well as conducting customized training and certification for all frontline employees, including Managers. The Training Specialist is responsible for the administration of organizational programs such as all-employee training, the corporate university and online learning management system. In addition, this position will test new and updated systems, develop written procedures, ensure employees are appropriately trained, and serve as support after implementation. This position will schedule and communicate training sessions and maintain records of the training programs. The Training Specialist will apply a complement of training based on organizational goals and initiatives, while consistently delivering the Credit Union’s Promise, both internally and externally.

The Business Services department has a full-time Commercial Loan Officer opportunity available. This position is responsible for the originating, preliminary underwriting and servicing of a variety of moderate to large, secured and unsecured commercial loans. These may include commercial lines of credit, construction loans, and real estate secured loans. The Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) will develop and manage commercial loan accounts that meet established lending requirements and maximize profitability to US Federal Credit Union with minimal risk. This position will also provide portfolio maintenance and loan administration in accordance with established policies. This position is responsible for performing advanced functions and providing universal support for our members related to department operational activities and financial services to effectively serve and resolve all member inquiries, concerns and issues over the phone. The position of a Call Center Representative also is required to be fully knowledgeable, up to date with changing policies and procedures, and skilled in all functional areas of the credit union. This position is required to provide leadership, training and support, both technical and operational, to co-workers and other credit union staff. The position requires an individual to exercise independent judgment and decision making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast paced environment. This position will also be responsible for balancing and maintaining a cash drawer, maintaining the inventory control of money orders and cashiers checks, balancing the coin machine on a daily basis, assisting members with questions concerning USFCU products and services as well as balancing the ATM and closing the teller line, when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date)
  • 6-months cash handling or teller experience
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Previous PC experience
  • Math aptitude, keyboarding and 10 key skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills
  • Ability to work various hours and locations including Saturday and evening hours as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs


Hours:
Scheduled for 40-hours per week between the hours of Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 6:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 7:00pm, with two to three Saturdays per month 9:00am – 1:00pm
