The Information Systems department has a Network Manager opportunity available. This position will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the Network Operations team. It will establish and maintain the technology, processes and procedures that provide for the reliability, availability and security of the Network and Telecommunications systems and infrastructure to align with the business objectives of USFCU. It will be responsible for the detection, reaction to, and prevention of network security breaches through best practices and effective management of these practices. The Network Manager will also participate in the strategic and tactical decisions about technology direction, IS products and services and the IS organizational structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent job-related work experience with similar responsibilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IS Department
  • 2+ years progressive experience in IS management to include managing and coaching employees
  • Knowledge of all major network operating systems and server software, server hardware and virtual environments. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred
  • Experience with Local and Wide Area network design, implementation and support of secure segmented VLAN networks, and internet gateway security
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) credentials preferred. Experience with Cisco network hardware/equipment, including routers, switches, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical information throughout all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical staff & officials
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Good project management skills

Due to the growth of the organization, the Marketing department has added a full-time Business Development Specialist position to its team. The Business Development Specialist (BDS) works with the Business Development team to foster and leverage relationships in a focused effort to grow credit union membership and usage of credit union products and services. Such relationships include, but are not limited to, current and potential Key Partner Companies (KPC) and relevant businesses/organizations with a concentration in the following locations: Brooklyn Park, Fridley and Minneapolis. The BDS also will mentor other credit union representatives to further the relationship-building effort.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business-related field preferred but not required) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years proven sales experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A reliable vehicle for local travel
  • Excellent public speaking and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to diverse prospects

Due to the growth of the organization, the Information Systems department has added a full-time Business Intelligence Analyst position to its team. This position is responsible for identifying and translating business needs and requirements into information solutions using database technologies. The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide data that assists business units in making informed decisions and will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of solutions which support the reporting and general information needs of the organization. It will demonstrate the value and importance of the Data Center team by delivering on Our Promise.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience utilizing SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio for creation of projects in Visual Studio, specifically reporting and integration projects
  • Minimum 5 years experience using relational database reporting tools
  • Proficient in the use of T-SQL
  • Familiarity with MS Windows client / server platform and related networking concepts
  • Ability to reason through logic problems and apply creative thinking

This position is responsible for identifying member product opportunities and recommending USFCU products to enhance member relationships with the credit union and provide quality sales referrals. The Financial Services Representative will open financial accounts for new and existing members, processes member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately, independently respond to members’ questions, concerns and requests in a timely, competent manner, and maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-months sales and service experience gained from financial services and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Lending experience a plus

The Member Relationship Officer maintains a unique working knowledge of all available product and service offerings of the credit union including the member benefits and the related rules and regulations of each product and service. This position is responsible for performing advanced member service and sales functions while providing universal support for our members related to operational activities and financial services to effectively serve and resolve all members inquires, concerns and issues. The position of Member Relationship Officer also is required to be fully knowledgeable, up to date with all product offerings, policies and procedures and skilled in all functional areas of the credit union. Additionally this position will provide leadership, training and support, both technical and operational, to co-workers and other credit union staff. The position requires exercising independent judgment and decision making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous customer service to our members; performs routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, Visa payments, check cashing and coin processing in an efficient and accurate manner; and enhances our members’ well-being by selling appropriate products and services. This position will also be responsible for balancing and maintaining a cash drawer; maintaining the inventory control of money orders and cashiers checks; balancing the ATM, when needed; balancing the coin machine on a daily basis; assisting members with questions concerning USFCU products and services; and closing the teller line, when needed.

Maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. Participate in achievement of corporate goals and initiatives. Support community involvement initiatives.
