The Card Services Manager is responsible for assisting in the expansion of the card program by recommending and developing new card products and technology solutions. This position will enhance program strategies to achieve the credit union’s card growth and usage objectives by establishing and meeting the annual income and expense goals, developing portfolio analytic strategies to understand the behaviors and performance of our cardholders as well as staying current on all aspects of the card program, including updates or changes to regulatory compliance and system updates. Additionally, the Card Services Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the card program, which includes the operations of credit union-owned ATMs and the management of the card database and system parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Six years card services, or related financial experience, including previous supervisory experience and proven leadership aptitude
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn the information into actionable tactics
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and technical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and maintain a positive attitude at all times

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.; Exempt

The Information Systems department has a Network Manager opportunity available. This position will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the Network Operations team. It will establish and maintain the technology, processes and procedures that provide for the reliability, availability and security of the Network and Telecommunications systems and infrastructure to align with the business objectives of USFCU. It will be responsible for the detection, reaction to, and prevention of network security breaches through best practices and effective management of these practices. The Network Manager will also participate in the strategic and tactical decisions about technology direction, IS products and services and the IS organizational structure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent job-related work experience with similar responsibilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IS Department
  • Minimum 3 years financial institution experience with at least 2 years progressive experience in IS management
  • Knowledge of all major network operating systems and server software, server hardware and virtual environments. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred
  • Experience with Local and Wide Area network design, implementation and support of secure segmented VLAN networks, and internet gateway security
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) credentials preferred. Experience with Cisco network hardware/equipment, including routers, switches, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical information throughout all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical staff & officials
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Be available to work various hours as needed

Due to the growth of the organization, the Information Systems department has added a full-time Imaging Representative position to its team. This position will be responsible for efficiently and accurately scanning and indexing all required documents to the optical scanning system while providing professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to employees and members. This will include organizing and prioritizing documents in preparation for scanning and communicating effectively with various departments regarding missing or incomplete documents. This position will prepare documents for destruction as well as perform audits regularly to validate that all required documents have been scanned or auto-archived in an accurate and timely manner. The Imaging Representative will ensure the security of all scanned, stored and destroyed documents and information to safeguard member information while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year providing general office/administrative support. Knowledge of imaging, records/documents management and destruction, preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous PC experience; Microsoft Office, Word and Excel experience, preferred
  • Math aptitude, keyboarding skills and 10 key skills
  • Good verbal, written communication and reasoning skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure
  • Available to work flexible hours, as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with scanning and document management

Scheduled for 20-hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

The Minneapolis branch has a full-time Financial Services Representative position available. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery methods, while maintaining confidentiality of member information. This position is responsible for identifying member product opportunities and recommending USFCU products to enhance member relationships with the credit union and provide quality sales referrals. The Financial Services Representative will open financial accounts for new and existing members, processes member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately, independently respond to members’ questions, concerns and requests in a timely, competent manner, and maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-months sales and service experience gained from financial services and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Lending experience a plus
  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable

The Bloomington branch currently has a full-time Lead Teller position available. This position provides knowledgeable and professional customer service to our members while independently responding to member questions and concerns in a timely, competent manner. This position also performs routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, Visa payments, check cashing, and coin processing in an efficient and accurate manner. Other duties include ordering, verifying, balancing, and maintaining cash vault as well as maintaining the inventory control of money orders, cashiers checks, and travelers checks when the Teller Supervisor is unable to do so. The Lead Teller will balance the coin machine on a daily basis, close the Teller line on a daily basis, and balance the ATM when needed.

The Northfield Branch has a part-time Teller position open. This position will provide professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery channels. Process member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately. Independently respond to members questions and concerns in a timely, competent manner. Provide quality sales referrals. Maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. Participate in achievement of corporate goals and initiatives. Support community involvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date)
  • 6-months cash handling or teller experience
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
