There is a Retail Sales Manager opportunity available to oversee the Fridley location. This position is responsible for providing leadership to the retail sales staff, resulting in the maximization of service and sales delivery. The Retail Sales Manager will ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet member service demands, foster employee development through consistent coaching and training, provide leadership and participate in the achievement of objectives, Corporate Goals and initiatives, and support community involvement and business development initiatives while encouraging staff participation. It is this position's responsibility to research, prepare, and monitor annual operating budgets for assigned facilities, maintain the safety and security of our members, employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures, effectively manage staff and processes to solve business issues, and develop solution-oriented recommendations to enhance the fulfillment of Our Promise and to grow the business.

Qualifications:

The Card Services Manager is responsible for assisting in the expansion of the card program by recommending and developing new card products and technology solutions. This position will enhance program strategies to achieve the credit union’s card growth and usage objectives by establishing and meeting the annual income and expense goals, developing portfolio analytic strategies to understand the behaviors and performance of our cardholders as well as staying current on all aspects of the card program, including updates or changes to regulatory compliance and system updates. Additionally, the Card Services Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the card program, which includes the operations of credit union-owned ATMs and the management of the card database and system parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or similar, or equivalent experience

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.; Exempt

Responsible for the originating, preliminary underwriting and servicing of a variety of moderate to large, secured and unsecured commercial loans. These may include commercial lines of credit, construction loans, and real estate secured loans. Develop and manage commercial loan accounts that meet established lending requirements and maximize profitability to US Federal Credit Union with minimal risk. Provide portfolio maintenance and loan administration in accordance with established policies. Demonstrate the value and importance of the Business Services team by delivering on Our Promise.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years commercial lending experience
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate process
  • Strong analysis, judgment and communication (both verbal and written) skills

The Member Relationship Officer maintains a unique working knowledge of all available product and service offerings of the credit union including the member benefits and the related rules and regulations of each product and service. This position is responsible for performing advanced member service and sales functions while providing universal support for our members related to operational activities and financial services to effectively serve and resolve all members inquires, concerns and issues. The position of Member Relationship Officer also is required to be fully knowledgeable, up to date with all product offerings, policies and procedures and skilled in all functional areas of the credit union. Additionally this position will provide leadership, training and support, both technical and operational, to co-workers and other credit union staff. The position requires exercising independent judgment and decision making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. This position provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to our members through all delivery methods, while maintaining confidentiality of member information. This position is responsible for identifying member product opportunities and recommending USFCU products to enhance member relationships with the credit union and provide quality sales referrals. The Financial Services Representative will open financial accounts for new and existing members, processes member transactions and requests efficiently and accurately, independently respond to members’ questions, concerns and requests in a timely, competent manner, and maintain safety and security of our members, our employees and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-months sales and service experience gained from financial services and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred

This position provides structure and leadership in managing the branch with direct supervision over the teller line and potential satellite offices of USFCU. Complete and implement projects under the direction of the AVP/Director of Branch Service and Retail Sales Manager. The position of Member Service Representative also is required to be fully knowledgeable, up to date with changing policies and procedures, and skilled in all functional areas of the credit union. This position is required to provide leadership, training and support, both technical and operational, to co-workers and other credit union staff. The position requires an individual to exercise independent judgment and decision making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast paced environment. A MSR focuses on building member and co-worker relationships while delivering “Our Promise”.
