1. Why do I need to accept the Consent to Electronic Delivery?
Acceptance of this new disclosure provides a convenient, automatic enrollment in our electronic delivery program. Electronic Delivery includes your regular monthly statements, Visa credit card statements (if applicable) and account disclosures. You will be required to accept the Consent to Electronic Delivery to enter Internet Branch. However, if you’d prefer not to receive these communications electronically you are able to cancel at any time.

2. Why use electronic statements?
Electronic statements have many benefits. They are secure, environmentally friendly and prompt. Electronic statements are also stored in Internet Branch for at least 6 months.

3. How do I view my statements?
Each time you have a statement or Visa bill you will receive an email from webmaster@usfed.org to notify you that your statement is available to view. Visit www.usfed.org, log into Internet Branch and select Online Statements. Your statements will be available for at least 6 months. You may view, print or save your statements.

4. How do I cancel e-statements/enroll in paper statements?
Within Internet Branch, select “User Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen. Click “Online Statement Options”, select the radio button next to “Receive your monthly paper statement.” and click “Change Online Statement Options”. If you enroll in paper delivery 5 days prior to the end of the month or before the closing date of your Visa credit card account billing statement you will receive your next statement via U.S. mail. If you enroll after that, you’ll receive your next statement electronically and the following one via U.S. mail.

5. What if I do not accept the Consent to Electronic Delivery?
You will be required to accept the Consent to Electronic Delivery in order to enter Internet Branch. However, if you’d prefer not to receive these communications electronically, you are able to cancel at any time (see #4).

6. What if I have a Visa Credit Card. Will I continue to get my Visa Statements in the mail?
No, after accepting the new disclosure you will receive ALL statements and disclosures electronically. However, if you’d prefer not to receive these communications electronically, you are able to cancel at any time (see #4).

7. Can I receive one of my statements electronically and one in the mail?
No, your statement preference, whether paper or electronic, is universal and affects all statements you receive.

8. Why do I have two e-statements every month?
Two statements may appear each month on your e-statement list. One is your monthly US Federal account statement. The other is your monthly US Federal Visa statement. If you do not have a US Federal Visa credit card account, you will only see one statement per month.

9. What if I delete a disclosure I receive electronically?
For your convenience, we’ve created an Account Disclosure archive on our website. Access the archive from www.usfed.org, at the bottom of the page, the red link called “Account Disclosures”.

10. How do I update my email address?
Within Internet Branch, select “User Options” in the top right hand corner of your screen. Click “E-mail Address”, enter your new email address and click “change E-mail Address”. Note: this change will affect your e-statement reminders and notifications only. If you would like to update your email address for notifications or scheduled transfers, do so in the corresponding section of Internet Branch.
