Health & Dental Insurance
Eligible employees may participate in US Federal Credit Union’s health and dental insurance with provides employees and their dependents with comprehensive benefit coverage. Our health insurance is offered through BlueCross BlueShield’s Accord preferred provider organization (PPO) network which provides a comprehensive range of medical care services for virtually all your medical needs. Our dental insurance is offered through Delta Dental’s PPO network which offers you a choice of three tiers of coverage options.
401(k) & Profit Sharing Plan
By participating in our 401(k) plan, US Federal Credit Union provides employees the opportunity to plan for their future. Contribute up to 50% of your own compensation with US Federal Credit Union contributing the following:
- Matching Contribution - Upon enrollment in the 401(k) plan, we match 50% of the first 6% contributed by employees.
- 3% Contribution - After one year of service, an automatic contribution of 3% of an employee’s gross eligible income is contributed to their 401(k) account, regardless of participation.
- Profit Sharing - Eligible employees enjoy a discretionary percentage of pay contribution, determined at the end of each year.
Paid Time Off
Vacation, sick time and personal days are consolidated into a single account for full- and part-time employees to use as they wish. New full-time employees receive up to 22 days per year.
Annual Corporate Goals
Depending upon the achievement of our annual corporate goals, each employee may be eligible for a discretionary incentive payout based upon a percentage of their eligible earnings.
Group Life Insurance
Group term life insurance benefits equal to 2 ½ times an employee’s annual salary are provided for eligible employees.
Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance
Eligible employees are provided income protection through Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Coverage in the event that illnesses or injuries keep an employee from work for an extended period of time.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Pay for health care and dependent care expenses on a more economical, pre-tax basis through two account options: a health care spending account and/or a dependent care spending account.
Tuition Reimbursement
Receive non-taxable reimbursement, up to our annual maximum, for attending classes at a college or university in pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Employee Assistance Program
Services available through this program are provided to employees at no cost to help employees with personal needs.
Employee PC Loan Program
Receive an interest-free loan for the full purchase amount of a computer or receive credit toward a cash purchase of a computer.
Support for Community and Service Involvement
In the credit union spirit of “people helping people”, employees are encouraged to participate in community service activities supported by US Federal Credit Union, and are encouraged to engage in individual volunteer activities through compensated time off.
