Client Service Assistant (MFS) - Minneapolis/Fridley
The Members Financial Services area has a Service Assistant opportunity available. This position will assist Member’s Financial Service (MEMFS) representatives with client servicing (address changes, questions on accounts, account changes); screen calls to/from representatives to handle client questions and servicing issues as needed; and be a second source for clients. This position will also assist in fund performance research and prepare client presentations for representatives; process documents for annuities and life products; review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission; perform follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education a plus
- 1+ years administrative and/or financial experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining good organizational skills; self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- PC experience including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Lotus, Internet and E-mail/Outlook or equivalents
- Investment assistance experience, with a working knowledge of brokerage and insurance products, terms, functions, suitability and compliance aspects
- Insurance or investment licenses a plus
Hours:
20 hours per week, between the hours of Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
