New requirements and stronger safeguards for Internet Branch are now in place, making it even safer for you to manage your money online. If you do not meet the new requirements, you may be prompted to take a few quick steps when logging in. Already meet the new requirements? There is nothing immediate you need to do.

Because the process and new standards are a bit trickier than usual, here are some additional documents you can reference to assist as you go through the process:

You will be asked to create a new username to use instead of member number at login. You will use this to login going forward. Your username must be at least six characters long and not all numeric.


The system will review the strength of your password. If your password does not meet security requirements, you will be asked to create a more secure password. Your password must meet these requirements:

  • 6-32 characters long
  • Contain at least one alpha character (a, b, c)
  • Contain at least one numeric character (1, 2, 3)
  • Cannot match username
  • Cannot contain blank spaces
